Climb and Bite
Snakes and ladders where the board starts empty — and every snake on it was placed by a player.
The shortcut you climb is one you paid for
Climb and Bite is a snakes-and-ladders board game where players collect the ladders and snakes and place them themselves, against the CPU, around one phone, or online in a room; we build a brand's own version of it as a lasting multiplayer destination on the brand's channels.
Half the tiles carry a pickup. Land on one and you bank a ladder, a snake or a card. On your turn you may spend one before you roll — a ladder placed a few tiles ahead of yourself, a snake placed a few tiles ahead of whoever is winning — and then you roll, and live with the board everyone has been building.
The dice are the same dice as the game you grew up with; what is new is that every snake on the board was put there by someone at the table. That turns a luck game into a table of small grudges and alliances, which is exactly what keeps a group playing a second round.
Three cards — skip every opponent's turn, ward off snakes for two turns, walk every opponent backwards — each land on the whole table at once, and a game runs on three board sizes from a quick 10×6 to a full 10×10.
A wooden table, a parchment board
A top-down wooden table with a parchment board on it, gold ladders and green snakes drawn as shapes rather than loaded as images, and four bright player pieces. It reads as a physical board game first, which is why it sits naturally beside a brand that wants to feel like something people gather around.
Board, pieces, ladders, snakes and the table itself are all drawn at runtime, so a restyle is a palette and a shape decision: your mascot as the pieces, your product as the pickups, your world as the table.
A board built by the table
What changes when it's yours
The pieces become your characters or products, the pickups become your rewards, and the cards become the moments you want people talking about. Because a match is several minutes and needs other people, this is the format for a lasting branded destination — a seasonal league, a family-night fixture, a game your community keeps a room open for — rather than a one-tap campaign.

Climb and Bite — your questions, answered
- What do we get if you build Climb and Bite for our brand?
- Your own game on this mechanic — not the demo with a logo dropped on it. The world, the art, the copy, the rules and the reward are made for your brand, and the demo you can play here is the proof that the mechanic itself already works.
- Is this a white-label licence?
- It's a licence on a mechanic we've already designed and shipped, rebuilt as a white-label game for your brand. You don't get the demo with your logo dropped on it. The world, art, copy, rules and reward are made for your campaign, and the finished game goes out under your name.
- How long does a build on Climb and Bite take?
- Branded Games of this kind typically take 8–14 weeks, and starting from a mechanic we have already designed and shipped keeps a build toward the faster end of that range. We agree the timeline before we start and every milestone ends in a playable demo.
- Where can it run?
- In the browser, on phone and desktop, with nothing to install — embedded on your own site or landing page, or linked from ads, social and email. Tell us where the campaign runs and we build to those specs.
- Can people play it together?
- Yes — that is the point of it. Two to four players share one board: against the CPU, passing one phone around the table, or each on their own device in an online room. It is the format to pick when you want people to bring someone else to your brand rather than play alone.
- Can we play it before we decide?
- Yes — the demo on this page is the real, finished mechanic, playable right now on desktop or phone. Play it, then tell us the campaign and we come back with what your version looks like.
